  13. I also purchased an Epson stylus color II. Print Quality is very good,
  14. the black ink on normal paper is razor-sharp. The color-ink seems to
  15. prefer the glossy-type paper.
  16. Everything very nice ... so far !
  17. BUT: I was disappointed that there was no documentation included about
  18. what ESC/P-code you have to send to the printer to do all the nice
  19. things ....
  20. Also the callibration procedure (allign uniderectional printing,
  21. allign color-heads to black head etc ...) can only be done with the PC
  22. or MAC ....
  23. I could find no explanation how to set/change these values in the
  24. manuals ...
  25. I looked up Epsons home page http://www.epson.com/ and found the
  26. support-page.
  27. Trying to submit a message I got the requester : specify PC or MAC
  28. .... grrrr
  29. Anyway maybe someone of us makes the efforts and writes some software
  30. for this excellent printer. With some digging I think one should be
  31. able to get a esc/p-explanation for this printer, maybe even some
  32. sources for the mac or pc prgs ...
  33. lets hope ...
  34. if somebody has some more experience, let me know ...
